Most families who finish their licensing training leave feeling like something is missing. The classes covered the process. Nobody covered what it actually feels like when a child walks through your door.

Before the Tide was created to fill that space.

This is not more licensing training. This is what comes after. Built for families who have completed or are currently in TIPS and want to use the waiting period with intention, this six week experience offers honest, structured preparation for what the system rarely teaches and what no one tells you until it is too late.

• Support around readiness, trauma, system navigation, placement preparation, and burnout prevention.
